Instagram data we use

The app connects only to Instagram accounts that have been explicitly authorized by the account owner or an authorized admin. When you authorize access, we may collect and use:

• Your Instagram account identifier and username.
• Access tokens required to interact with Instagram on your behalf.
• Media and post metadata (captions, publish status, timestamps, and related content).
• Public comments on posts and Reels published by the connected account.
• Operational logs needed to run, debug, and secure the service.

How we use this data

We use the data described above solely to operate El Primer Feca for the connected account, including:

• Publishing approved content to the authorized Instagram account.
• Reading public comments on the account’s own posts and Reels.
• Drafting or posting replies when you have explicitly authorized that workflow.
• Debugging issues, preventing abuse, and maintaining service reliability.

What we do not do

El Primer Feca does not sell personal data. We do not use your data for third-party advertising. We do not share Instagram data with unrelated third parties, except for infrastructure providers that are strictly necessary to operate the service and are bound by appropriate data-handling obligations.

We do not access private Instagram direct messages unless Instagram Messaging permissions are separately enabled in the future and you have explicitly authorized them.

Data retention

We keep access tokens and operational data only for as long as necessary to provide the service or to comply with legal and security requirements. When an account is disconnected or a deletion request is honored, associated data is removed unless we are required to retain it.

Requesting data deletion

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing santi@democracy.earth with the subject line “Data deletion - El Primer Feca” and including the Instagram username or account you connected. See also our Data Deletion Instructions.
